Beautiful Fact - The red spruce reaches full maturity after 200 years and may live as long as 400 years. It will only produce seeds after reaching 30-40 years of age - with good seed crops occurring every three to eight years.
Leaves - The needles are yellowish-green, curved and are attached to hairy twigs on four sides.
